How to Easily  Remove the Powered By Blogger Attribution Gadget In Blogger


We thank God for the day.. and the lives He has given us.. Today, we are going to discuss how we would be able to remove the Google blogger attribution gadget or widget from our blogger blog forever. The attribution gadget is always present at the footer of the blog page which says "Powered by Blogger"

This widget or gadget is always locked by default, This explains the reason why you can not easily remove it when you try. And so to remove it, you would to unlock it from your blogger HTML template. Don't worry, you are not going to do it alone. We are going to guide you on how you can basically and effortlessly remove it from your blog forever. All you got to do is just to follow the procedures stated below



How To Remove Blogger Attribution Gadget 

  

1. First of all you need to log in to your blogger dashboard2. Go to Template –> Edit HTML of the blogger you would like to remove the attribution from.3. In the HTML  search for the code below.
<b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='true' title='' type='Attribution'>
4. If you find the code, now all you have to do is replace locked=’true’ with locked=’false’ or change  the true to false
5.  After you have done that save your template.
 
6. The next thing is to then Go to blogger Layout page. 
7.  Click on edit attribution widget.



Click on the remove link to have it removed from your blogger as shown below in the image

After You have located the code below in your blogger HTML template editor, 
<b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='true' title='' type='Attribution'>
Just erase delete the code and finally save your template.
